Hardware

A doomsday computer

A computer for the end of the world, in a Pelican case. A Raspberry Pi, a battery, a screen and a keyboard, held in place with 3D-printed parts. Close the lid and it survives the trip.

A pocket transcriber

A voice recorder in the spirit of the Plaud. An ESP32 with a microphone streams audio to a Raspberry Pi. The Pi runs whisper.cpp and turns the audio into text.

An off-grid messenger

A text messenger that works with no cell network and no internet. It sends messages over LoRa radio, with a range of about three miles. CircuitPython on Adafruit hardware. It looks like a BlackBerry. It is retired now.
